Today I am going to try the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog, Put a STAMP On It. I don't usually participate in these so I thought I would take a small step out of my comfort zone and give it a go.
This was also a great opportunity to use some of my stockpiled card making supplies. I have this thing about trying to keep things pristine, so I don't use them. Must be a childhood thing. Mom was always telling us to "Take care of your things to keep them nice", " If you ruin it you won't get another one". The result is I'm afraid to use my supplies because then they won't be nice and new anymore. Whoa! Time to get over that!
Soooo...
Ok, here we go. I decided to not only do this challenge but to also use the items from my Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit to make my card.
Taadaaaa!
I like it. And it has Washi tape. Yeah!!!
Making this card was a nice break in my day and fun.

Well, here we go. My first post and I'm at a loss for words so I am just going to say how much I like the new Simon Says Stamp June Card Club Kit. Love it. Here is the first card that I made with it.
The kit is full of so many wonderful things I wasn't sure where to start. The Distress inks,
Distress Stickles, Terra Cotta Walnut ink, paper flower, gold metal embellishments and embossing powder are what I used from my stash to make this beauty (or not depending on your tastes).
I got to try some new for me techniques and was totally jazzed with the result.
Hope you enjoy the card!!!!
Whoo hoo!! First post complete and we're off and running...
